These Terms of Use govern access to CommercialInvoice.org, including its commercial invoice generator, PDF output, and educational content. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Informational tool

CommercialInvoice.org provides a carrier-neutral document generator and educational content. It is not a customs authority, government agency, freight carrier, law firm, tax adviser, or customs broker, and it is not affiliated with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or another carrier.

The service does not determine whether goods may legally be exported or imported, calculate duties or taxes, verify sanctions or denied-party restrictions, or select a correct HS code. Educational explanations and field warnings are general information, not professional advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, classification, valuation, origin, and legality of the information you enter. Requirements vary by destination, carrier, goods, and shipment purpose. Review the completed document and confirm applicable requirements before shipping.

No guaranteed acceptance

We do not guarantee that a generated invoice will be accepted by a carrier, customs authority, buyer, bank, or other party. Format checks and warnings do not constitute legal, tax, customs, or classification advice.

Permitted use

You may use generated documents for your own lawful business and shipping activities. Do not use the service to misrepresent goods, values, origin, parties, or shipment purpose, or to facilitate unlawful trade.

You must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, overload the website, scrape it in a manner that disrupts operation, impersonate another party, or use the service in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, customs, fraud, or intellectual-property laws.

Generated documents

You retain responsibility for information you enter and for documents you create. CommercialInvoice.org does not claim ownership of your invoice contents. You may download, print, and use generated PDFs for lawful shipment and business purposes.

The website design, software, branding, and original educational content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy or resell the service itself.

Privacy and third-party services

Use of the website is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Links to government, carrier, standards, or other third-party websites are provided for convenience. CommercialInvoice.org does not control or endorse their content, availability, or privacy practices.

Availability

The service may change, experience interruptions, or be withdrawn. Keep copies of documents you need. Form data is not backed up and is cleared when you refresh or close the tab.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or customs or carrier acceptance. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties and the site operator is not liable for customs delays, duties, penalties, rejected shipments, lost data, or other decisions made using the generated document.

CommercialInvoice.org is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the service where such exclusion is permitted. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the date permitted by law.
